Camping site

Koli Freetime is all year campsite on the shore of a clean, sand bottom child-friendly lake & beach for swimming (ice-swimming at winter time), a barbecue hut and fire places with woods, a cafeteria and saunas available to all of our guests. Please note that we have short closure times outside summer season, check the opening times from info page

We are located in a peaceful spot 10 kilometers from Koli village, along Highway 6, 52 km from Joensuu towards Kajaani. Signposts guide you from Highway 6 to our premises; the drive along the gravel road is approximately two kilometers.
Our central location makes it easy to take day trips throughout North Karelia.

All 30 electric pitches for motorhomes are mainly near the shore. Flat lawn and sand areas in a beautiful birch grove. You are welcome to stay over no matter are you sleeping in a motorhome, caravan, tent, normal car or car with roof-top tent, we even have few places available for hammocks. In camping site you can park your car right next to your tent.

No matter how you prefer to sleep, all the services are included to the prices.
You can stay in campsite with your pet without extra fee, please just remember to keep dogs and cats always on the leash to avoid accidents happening as we always have lot of animals in the area.     

The campsite rates are the same for tents, motorhomes, and caravans. 

The total price consists of a site fee and a per-person fee, plus an electricity charge if required. There are separate areas for those who need electricity and those who do not.

Area fees -2€ / day for valid SFC, ACSI and CampingKeyEurope card holders. Please note the terms and conditions of the card issuers that entitle you to the discount, which we are committed to following.

SAUNA AND SWIMMING
Prices include showers and sauna with common sauna shifts every evening, mixed sauna. Please note that sauna shifts may change, check the schedules here or at the reception upon arrival. During the winter time possibility for ice-swimming.

Wood heated sauna for our guests staying overnight in the resort is 20 € / hour. Ask about the possibility of a wood-burning sauna!

SERVICES IN THE CAMPING SITE
Unless otherwise stated, all services are included to the prices of accommodation

• Heated service facilities all year round (WCs, showers, sauna, kitchen)
• The kitchen has cooking utensils and dishes, an oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and 4 seperate dishwashing place
• Drying racks outside
• Free use of rowing boats, canoes, kayaks and SUP boards during reception opening hours
• Lighting in the area
• Winter maintenance (lighting and snow free pitches and drive ways)
• Barbecue shelter and several campfire sites next to the lake
• Possibility to empty the septic tank and grey water, please note that no possibility to drive over the sewage, but you can borrow buckets from us to make the grey water grainage easier.
• Daily common sauna included prices, possibility for private sauna with extra price 
• Breakfast buffet every day from 8-10 am, outside high-season, please make reservation latest on previous evening
• We bake bread every morning, please put pre-order on previous evening to the reception
• A washing machine is available in the service house for an additional fee 5 € / machine, including detergents 
• We accept cash, most common bank and credit cards (no Amex or Diners)
